One atomic substrate.
Seven engineering verticals.
CAD, FEA, Circuit, CAM/CNC, IDE, Web, and DevOps run on the same underlying atoms — not seven separate tools stitched together. Change a value in one discipline and the whole machine re-solves across every discipline that depends on it.
Manual-first, mouse-driven engineering. AI is an accelerant on top, never a requirement.
Change one number. The whole machine re-solves.
In PRISM a mechanical drivetrain is one graph, not a pile of disconnected parts. Raise the horsepower on a motor and the gear, shaft, key, and bearing selections downstream re-solve automatically — because they all read the same atom, not a copy or a snapshot of it.
That's the difference between a substrate and a bridge: a bridge converts data between tools and goes stale the moment one side changes. A shared atom can't go stale — there's only one of it.
Every discipline an engineer needs to take a machine from idea to running system.
Each vertical is a real, working tool — not a mockup. Together they share atoms, so work in one is visible and usable in the others.
CAD
Parametric mechanical design — solids, assemblies, GD&T, and a real 3D viewport for point-and-click modeling, not just command entry.
FEA
General-geometry finite element analysis on real meshes, checked against CalculiX — stress concentration and modal results validated to the incumbent, not assumed.
Circuit
Schematic capture, netlisting, and SPICE-validated analog/digital simulation, plus PCB layout with autorouting and Gerber export.
CAM / CNC
Toolpath generation and manufacturability checks, with post-processor output diffed against golden files for real machine controllers.
IDE
An in-Studio code editor with language-server support and a real debugger — breakpoints and stepping — for the software that drives the machine.
Web
A layout and DOM engine for building the operator-facing front end, checked against real browser layout behavior rather than approximated.
DevOps
Infrastructure and deployment tooling for shipping what the other six disciplines produce — plans and state checked for parity before they run.
One atomic structure underneath every vertical, from the beginning.
Not per-discipline models joined by converters. Every vertical reads and writes the same atoms natively, so reciprocity across disciplines is a structural property of the system — not a feature bolted on afterward.
